In the vast realm of art, where grandeur often takes center stage, there’s a quiet yet significant allure in smaller, more affordable pieces. These petite treasures hold immense importance for artists and collectors alike and I can attest that having one from your favorite creator is a great entry point into the art world.

Art should be inclusive. By offering smaller artworks at affordable prices, artists make creativity accessible to a broader audience. These pieces become achievable dreams for students, young professionals, and art lovers on a budget, breaking down barriers to entry into the art world.

Not everyone has ample wall space or room for large sculptures. Small artworks provide a solution for compact living spaces, effortlessly fitting into nooks, shelves, or desks. Their versatility allows art enthusiasts to adorn their environments without overwhelming them, making art an integral part of everyday life.

For emerging artists too, selling smaller artworks provides visibility and sustenance in the competitive art market. These pieces serve as a means to attract buyers and establish their artistic identity. The accessibility of smaller artworks enables artists to connect directly with their audience, fostering community and support.

With all this in mind, when I do art festivals and shows I make sure to always have some smaller options for potential buyers. When creating I always sprinkle in plenty of 11x14s, 8x10s and 5x7s. This helps me too because it allows me to finish something in a shorter amount of time than a large piece would take.

To inspire the potential collector and to encourage the addition of small creatives, here’s a collection of eight 5×7 pieces I currently have available. Click on each item for details to purchase and use coupon code: SMALLS at checkout to receive free shipping on these items anywhere within the United States.

Of the eight pieces above, which one stands out to you most? Tell me in the comments!
