Gratitude

This time of year excels at turning my attention towards all of the things I am thankful for. And while listing those things and declaring one’s gratitude out into the internet may seem like a trite enterprise nowadays, I really don’t care. I am thankful for a lot, so I gotta shout it out.

Completely changing my career has proved a harder endeavor than I ever imagined, so I’m hanging on through the good graces of my parents, for whom I extremely grateful. Without them I wouldn’t be here anyway and with them I am able to chase a dream, so for that I am beyond thankful.

To my sisters and to my friends who listen to me at my rawest of moments without judgment and without calling the cops, thank you.

To Julie and the Ardest Gallery, a place that has given me great opportunities to better myself and my business, I am extremely thankful.

To the Conroe Art League, my home away from home, where I am constantly surrounded by like minded go-getters and talented busy bees who want to see their contemporaries succeed, I am grateful.

To all of the collectors who have bought artworks of mine… wow… just WOW… you’ve made my day/week/month/year! THANK YOU!

And of course to the universe/God/higher power (still trying to work through this personal missive) I am beyond appreciative for having been born in the most comfortable, safest, most independence promoting era in knowable history.

Thank you, world.

Thank you.

What are some of the things YOU’RE thankful for this holiday season? Tell me in the comments!

  1. A brother who also listens to me at my rawest! The new atmosphere I have created in the last 1.5 year, Lord knows it hasn’t been easy!
