Just in time for the holiday season, I am offering limited edition prints of three unique paintings. The print run on these works is quite small, at just 15 each, so get these before they are gone forever!

The three pieces here serve as a good distinguisher of my character. These days I spend a lot of time running, cycling and meditating. I’m not particularly good at any of them, but spending time doing these things does bring me peace.
Running is my first fitness love. It’s what got me to turn my life around. It’s what got me excited about being outside, for going places, seeing things. Five miles, five hours, whatevs. Running gets me to a happy place no matter how long or how far.
Cycling gets me there too, though I don’t have to expend as much energy while doing it (usually). If running is where I get my dopamine hit, then cycling is where I get my “feel like a kid again” hit. I love the bike because I can train hard or train easy. When things get really tough, on a bike I can always coast. And nothing makes me feel youthful bliss quite like buzzing along on two wheels.
Mentally, I struggle. I think most of us do. My mind festers. Unchecked it is constantly looking for things to worry about or to be upset about or to whatever about. It spends all of its time in the past or the future, but it isn’t calm unless I force it into the present. The more I practice, the easier it becomes, but one of the hardest things to do in life is to stop thinking. And no, the irony there is not lost on me. In fact, it cracks me up on the daily.
Do you spend time running, cycling or meditating? What is your experience with it? Tell me in the comments! And in the meantime, give the runner, cyclist or meditation practitioner in your life a great gift for the holiday season! And don’t forget to use code: PRINTFREESHIPPING at checkout.
