Friends, the holidays are right around the corner, and if you’re looking for the perfect, most special gift for your friends, colleagues and loved ones, then look no further than a dynamic doodle portrait by yours truly! I love to paint portraits and my unique doodled backgrounds bring new light and deeper meaning to the subject by embedding names, words and phrases associated with the people and pets featured.
Above is a piece I did recently of the lovable mini dachshunds, Lucy and Otis. In this particular painting, if you look to the top left area of the piece, above her head, look closely and you will find the name “Lucy”. If you let your eye scroll down to the bottom right section, you’ll find the name “Otis”. Once you see the names, you won’t unsee them, and the painting serves not only as a great memorial but also as a wonderful conversation piece for anyone who might see it.
