Take me home… country roads…
You know the song! And it’s already stuck in your head so go ahead and belt it out:
To the place… I belong…
Central Illinois! Lol. Not quite as lyrical, but you know what I’m going for. That’s right, friends, this week I’ll be coming back to central Illinois for two art festivals on back-to-back weekends.
On September 9 and 10 I’ll be showing at the Art Spectacular at the Carillon in Springfield, Illinois. And yes, post-festival drinks with Homer at Moe’s Tavern are already lined up. Holla if you wanna join!
The weekend after that, on September 16 and 17, I’ll be showing at Arts in Central Park in Decatur, Illinois. Both events are driving distance from my hometown of Quincy, Illinois and a three-ish hour drive from Chicago where I lived for 17 years. Hopefully this means I will get to see lots of people I know!
If you’re looking for something to do and want to take in some culture while supporting people who make cool things, please come visit me at one of these (or both) shows! These two events are part of my first art festival road trip that kicks off off a full Fall schedule, so I plan to come back with lots of memories and lots of smiles!
Hope to see you there!
